Our 4th and 5th grade students traveled to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for the Science Bowl. At the event, students moved between three stations: Fossil Exploration, Dinosaur Discovery, and a Mammal Inquiry Scavenger Hunt. A huge congratulations to Brice, Nicholas, Drake, and Kasen for coming in 1st place out of 30+ teams! Excellent job! We had lots of fun hosting the Primary Literature Festival at Trinity East this year! Prior to the event, students read four books and engaged in extension activities using the English Language Arts standards. At the event, students rotated between five stations:
A huge THANK YOU goes out to our middle school gifted helpers who volunteered their time to help the event to run smoothly. They were excited to earn volunteer hours for National Junior Honor Society and to work with the younger students. Thank you to Cameron, Ethan, Ryan, Nolan, and Elliott for all your hard work! Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students traveled to Fort Cherry Elementary Center to compete in the America Bowl. Prior to the competition, students studied the states & and capitals, state locations, state nicknames, and fun facts about the states. At the competition, students earned points by building a puzzle of the USA, playing state Pictionary, placing state capitals on the correct states, and answering trivia questions about the states. Team Trinity put forth a lot of effort preparing for the competition and had exceptional teamwork at the competition. Congratulations to Team Trinity for coming in 1st place at the competition! |
