Our 6th and 7th grade gifted students had a great day at Phipps Conservatory today for the annual Eco-Challenge! This event serves as the kickoff event for the Fairchild Challenge, a series of engaging, hands-on science challenges that the students will work on during the course of the school year. At the Eco-Challenge, the students participated in three activities including a trivia challenge about habitats, creating Japanese style lanterns with an ecological theme and a riddle, along with a scavenger hunt through the Conservatory. These activities are smaller scale tasks that introduce students to the Fairchild Challenge. Comments are closed.
