Our 4th and 5th grade gifted students traveled to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for the Science Bowl. The students moved between four stations: Dino Detectives, Reptiles Scavenger Hunt, Geology Lab, and Explore Anywhere! Working in teams, the students developed questions they would ask dinosaurs and identified rocks based on their hardness. Next, they completed a scavenger hunt through the Live Reptiles exhibit. During their exploration time, the students visited Bird Hall, toured the Polar Arctic exhibit, and spent time learning about Ancient Egypt. Congratulations to Ben, Bayleigh, and Ella for coming in 1st place with 57.5 points! Their exceptional teamwork and perseverance through the Science Bowl challenges earned them this coveted spot! Congratulations!
