Fourth and fifth grade gifted students participated in the Wild Investigations program at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. The students listened to a presentation called “One Degree of Change” which centered on how small changes can have a big impact on our environment. They even met a Barn Owl and an American Alligator during the presentation! The students then formed teams and set out on a scavenger hunt through the zoo and aquarium. Students had to answer questions about the animals, their habitats, and adaptations. The students had a great day learning more about science! Comments are closed.
